Hollyn Stegall is an abstract mixed media artist living in Estes Park, Colorado. She strives to create feelings of joy and connection with the viewer. When creating abstract art with any tool or media she can focus on pure design elements such as color, line, shape, composition, and texture. She strives to allow the art to come through her rather than forcing it and loves to be surprised by the outcome of each piece. She also enjoys the puzzle solving nature of making it “work.” Abstract art, for her, is just as or more challenging as representational work. She is inspired by beauty, color, flowers, energy, and whimsy. Her work has been shown internationally and locally. Additionally, her work is published in several publications and she has received multiple awards.
