Art changes our world and allows us to share our interpretation of what we see with others. Combining her love of both fine art and the natural world, Jennifer spent an ideal career as a Scientific Illustrator for several natural resource agencies.
Jennifer’s work led to designing and creating artwork and illustrations for publications for over 30 years. She is now enjoying being a free-lance fine artist using a variety of mediums, letting her realistic style of painting develop a more interpretive quality.
Jennifer has shown in numerous group and solo juried shows including the Washington D.C. Smithsonian Institute’s Scientific Illustration exhibit and the Art-Science Interface Show at the Denver Botanic Gardens. Professional organizations include Plein Air Artists Colorado, Western Federation of Watercolor Societies and the Colorado Watercolor Society.
Watercolor is Jennifer’s current chosen medium with its glowing transparency and serendipitous quality combined with the immediacy and accessibility of a watercolor painting. Jennifer’s work can be seen at the Art Center of Estes Park Gallery.
